Villa Ventura is an eighteenth-century historic home built to complete a fifteenth-century palace belonging to the Aquino Princes; the original artifact is depicted in a seventeenth-century print by Pacichelli. This is indeed evidence of its historical-artistic importance. Since 1988 the Villa and the adjoining church of San Foca have been under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Cultural and Environmental Heritage.
The Villa was subsequently purchased by the Ventura family who still owns it and manages it with great passion and professionalism. This majestic Villa surrounded by greenery can be accessed through a road enclosed by stone walls surrounded by flowering oleanders, palm trees and centuries-old pines.
The park surrounds the entire dwelling and extends to the roof garden at the back of the Villa. From the living quarters on the ground floor, you can directly access the garden with swimming pool, descending from a fabulous and evocative staircase.
